Yesterday I went walking along the western part of the north coast of the island. Saw a few cool things I haven't seen yet.
Solanum lyratum
I went wandering up a path and all of a sudden came upon this huge spider that was just really awesome. I swear the bugs here are just so cool.
There was this bee (or maybe it was a fly) that looked like a cross between a hummingbird and a lobster.
Songgot
Some pretty Asteraceae flowers
Cicada. These guys just make so much noise all the time
I actually found one of the places I was looking for. Yelimwon is like a garden park that has a couple nice views. Not as educational or as well labelled as the garden I went to the other day, but it was pretty and had some cool statues.
Eclipta prostrata
Elephant rock
A cool rock outcrop
A Black-crowned Night Heron in molt. I believe this is the same one I saw in Taeha earlier in my trip
A cormorant...probably a Great Cormorant
