Today I went back to Taeha and went up the trail to the lighthouse. Then I took a little footpath that led down to a beach that really wasn't much except a pile of large rocks.
More Spot-billed Ducks
Cool
Pseudosasa japonica
Another picture of the Chinese Juniper monument (it strikes me as interesting that the two monuments are on inaccessible chunks of rock, like those are the only places people can't get to them so they deem them national monuments)
A little boat at the base of the Juniper monument
Another view of Songgot (aka Needle Rock)
Liriope platyphylla. Flowers haven't quite bloomed yet
Paederia scandens
There was this beetle with furry tufts on its wings
Once again, great signage
Juniperus chinensis
Finally got a picture of the sandpipers I saw yesterday. They're Wood Sandpipers
