Updated Itinerary (again...possibly final)

June 14: Seoul
June 15: Donghae
June 16 - August 14: Ulleungdo
August 14: Mokpo
August 15-24: Jeju
August 24-27: Mokpo (exploring Shinan and Dadohaehaesang National Park)
August 27-29: Yeosu (exploring Baekunsan, Namhae, etc)
August 30: Busan
August 31 - September 5: Seoul

Distilled it down quite a bit, so now I'll spend 2 months on Ulleungdo and a bit of time in some of the southern coastal areas

My hope is to record plant and bird species on Ulleungdo and do surveys of endemic plants. If things go particularly well I may be able to put together some kind of field guide to flora and fauna of the island, as well as put out a census of endemic plant species on Ulleungdo.

Evergreen Woods (again)

Today I was in the field doing transects and then I went in the woods for an extra few hours to have a photo shoot with a rare orchid. Also, from now on let's just pretend I'm italicizing my scientific names because it's kind of a pain to do that on my device.
