Not much happened in the way of plants yesterday, but there are a couple things of interest. I intended to go up to the Dokdo observatory platform, but as I was walking in the direction of the trail, I saw lots of smoke coming from the general direction of the forest the trail is in, and as I neared the trailhead I saw some police officers, so I decided to just go back. On the way back, I passed the same vehicle with the National Geographic decal I'd seen a while ago. I still don't know what to make of it. 

Codonopsis lanceolata - hopefully I'll be around to see this one in bloom in a couple weeks
