I swear if I hear Mahalo one more time...

If I could describe my layover in Hawaii in one word,it would be "Mahalo" because it's apparently mandatory for everyone working in the service industry to say that after every sentence. 
Otherwise, it's pretty nice here, and I had actually forgotten that Hawaii was tropical until we landed and I saw some Myna birds. I don't think I've ever seen a Myna in my life but when I looked at one of them I suddenly thought to myself "I think it's a Myna bird." Weird.
So there were some Mynas, some kind of turtle dove, house finches, some really cute little zebra doves.  Even the pigeons were different...they were all white except for a select few that were pied. Interesting.

and here's a Cedar Waxwing because I really like them (couldn't get a great pic but you can actually see the red waxy wingtips pretty well)
