Lake 22

Took a hike to Lake 22 today and found lots of cool stuff along the trail.
I can't help but wondering at the name of the lake though...were they just not very creative or is there some kind of play on Catch 22?

Trail to Lake 22

Wax Flower aka Moneses uniflora (Pyrolaceae or Ericaceae)

"waterfall" along the trail

Heart-leaved Twayblade aka Listera cordata
Twayblade again (in the Orchid family)

Running Clubmoss aka Lycopodium clavatum

terrifying picture of a slug devouring some detritus

Parsley Fern aka Cryptogramma crispa

Rosy Twistedstalk aka Streptopus roseus

Broad-leaved Marsh-marigold aka Caltha biflora

Fern-leaved Goldthread aka Coptis asplenifolia

Devil's Matchstick aka Pilophorus acicularis
