Today I went up to the Dokdo observatory platform and watched the sky get dark and the city light up. Also, I saw some Akebia quinata on the trail, which means that I get to put it in my guide. So far it has the longest plant entry, mainly on account of I'm completely obsessed with it. Odd that it's taken me nearly two months to notice it here, but it is a particularly inconspicuous plant.

On another note: Squid Fest starts tomorrow!

Just watched the sky get darker and darker. The lights on the horizon are the squid fishing boats. At night the city really looks like a river of light flowing into the ocean.
